Schades Group Continues Investment in German Production with New ROBOPLUS Machine

Schades Group has continued its investment in production capabilities at R+S Group GmbH in Sarstedt, Germany, with the addition of a new ROBOPLUS one-colour converting and printing machine by LemuGroup.

The latest investment strengthens the site’s production capabilities and builds on significant investment already made in advanced machinery and automation at the German facility.

R+S Group, which operates as part of Schades Group, is a key production site within the Group’s European manufacturing network. In June 2026, Schades Group announced the installation of two advanced ROBOPLUS converting and printing lines at the Sarstedt facility, including a four-colour printing and converting line and a two-colour machine offering coreless and linerless converting capabilities.

The latest ROBOPLUS investment further enhances the site’s converting capacity, providing additional production capability and flexibility to support customer demand.

The converting machine can integrate an in-line flexographic one-colour printing unit using water-based inks, and converts jumbo reels into cash register, lottery and POS rolls – all core products in Schades Group’s offering.

Reaching high speeds with automated core loading, knife positioning, glueing and roll extraction, the new machine will help R+S Group strengthen its ability to deliver high-quality paper roll products efficiently and reliably.
